On August 4, 2023, a group of six student-interns hailing from the College of Fisheries at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) completed a 30-day internship program at the College of Fisheries-Freshwater Aquaculture Center (CF-FAC) of Central Luzon State University (CLSU). The event took place within CF-FAC's conference room and commenced with a welcome message from Mr. Aries Paul D. Padron, in which he underscored the significance of this internship program. He also expressed his gratitude towards the participants, faculty and staff members, and section heads involved in the said internship.
Following this, Acting Dean Dr. Lorenz J. Fajardo delivered an uplifting message, sharing her personal journey and how it contributed in honing her skills, fostering innovation, and nurturing leadership qualities. A notable highlight of the event was the presentation by the student-interns from DMMMSU. After the presentation, the interns openly discussed their hands-on experiences, recounting both the challenges they faced and the successes they achieved during their internship. To commemorate the students' accomplishments and symbolize a new phase in their educational voyage, certificates were awarded to them.
Dr. Karl Marx A. Quiazon, the Director of FAC, wrapped up the event by expressing his pride in the interns and extending appreciation to all those who contributed to the triumph of the program. The DMMMSU internship event not only celebrated achievements but also ignited enduring inspiration for what lies ahead in the future.
