Higher education plays a major role in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by raising awareness, sharing knowledge, information dissemination and train students to be more interactive, participating in a dialogue rather than just listening to a professor and taking notes. The papers were presented in FISH 4398 (Seminar) spearheaded by Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco, SGD 14 Chair (Life Below Water). Students showcased topics on conservation, waste management and protection of marine resources as well as coastal ecosystems.
