Sabang Beach is a two-kilometer gray sand facing east of the Pacific Ocean. Famously known for its frequently strong waves that are massive enough to give life to people who would like to ride the waves. As such, Sabang Beach of Baler is the birthplace of surfing in the country.
The cleanup activity was conducted on the shore of the beach. It is a joint activity of the Freshwater Aquaculture Center/College of Fisheries and Sustainable Development Goals specifically SDG 14: Life Below Water.
