The much-anticipated result of the 2023 Fisheries Professional Licensure Examination (FPLE) was officially released yesterday by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) with Central Luzon State University (CLSU) garnering 50.00% overall passing rate. There were 46 CLSU examinees among the 2,124 examinees from 96 other universities. CLSU hit a 72.73% passing rate for its first-time takers. Out of all the examinees, 716 passed the FPLE resulting in a national passing rate of 33.71%.
The 2023 FPLE was conducted in 16 testing centers in Manila, Butuan, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Oriental Mindoro, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on October 25-26, 2023. The Board of Fisheries is chaired by Dr. Westly R. Rosario with Dr. Catalino R. Dela Cruz, Dr. Carlos C. Baylon, Dr. Gerald F. Quinitio and Dr. Joebert D. Toledo as members.
