Dr. Eduardo Leaño, an alumnus from batch 1989 of the College of Fisheries was elected yesterday (March 6, 2024) as the incoming Director General of Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific (NACA). Dr. Leano holds his BSc in Inland Fisheries at Central Luzon State University, a MSc in Fisheries from the University of the Philippines Visayas and PhD in Applied Biology from the City University of Hong Kong.
As the incoming director general, Dr. Leaño will serve for a five-year term beginning in May 2024. We look forward to his leadership in shaping the future of aquaculture and aquatic ecosystems.
