Following the success of their previous immersion, DJCHS has decided to once again choose CLSU-CF and FAC. They firmly believe that the institution provides an ideal environment for students to apply their theoretical knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

The students anticipate gaining invaluable learning experiences and developing relevant knowledge, skills, and attitudes by immersing themselves in the work environment and ethics at CF and FAC, aligning with the objectives of their program. They are required to complete 80 hours, which commenced on March 6, 2024, and will end on March 21, 2024.

Furthermore, on the first day, the students were introduced to the Dean of College of Fisheries, Dr. Emmanuel M. Vera Cruz. They also had a brief discussion with Mr. Junard A. Catabay about the activities and schedules of their work immersion.

Additionally, they were given a lecture about Ornamental Fish and tour at The Living Fish Museum and Wet Laboratory by Ms. Julieta D. Holasca.
