In promoting Sustainable Development Goal No.14: Life Below Water, with its main objective to conserve and sustainably use the marine resources, a coastal clean-up was done in Baler, Aurora on March 16, 2024.
The coastal clean-up was made possible through the joint effort of the College of Fisheries (CF) led by Dr. Emmanuel M. Vera Cruz and Freshwater Aquaculture Center (FAC) headed by Dr. Karl Marx A. Quiazon, together with other CF/FAC Faculty and Staff.
This initiative aims to promote waste reduction, preserve the beauty of coastal areas, and protect marine species.
