The two-day 7th CF/FAC In-House Student Research Review, held on April 18-19, 2024, at the Conference Hall of the College of Fisheries/Freshwater Aquaculture Center โ Central Luzon State University, aimed to cultivate well-rounded students that are proficient in fisheries education and research. This esteemed annual event brought together baccalaureate and graduate students to exhibit their research findings and advancements in the realm of fisheries and aquaculture.
This yearโs conference showcased a spectrum of basic and applied studies addressing the critical challenges in fisheries, while also contributing to the attainment of sustainable development goals through a gender-responsive approach. Topics encompassed aquaculture, ecological assessment, product innovation, and social research pertinent to fisheries management. Outstanding students who demonstrated exceptional presentation skills and offered research papers with substantial contributions and innovative ideas were duly acknowledged during the event. Simultaneously, the distinguished panel of judges for paper and poster presentations included esteemed individuals from various institutions and State Universities. Evaluators for paper presentations featured Dr. Faith S. Tadeo of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University โ South La Union Campus, Dr. Jesus Paolo B. Cullado of Cavite State University, Mr. Daniel V. Cabrera of SANTEH Feeds Corporation, and Assoc. Prof. Kristine Grace D. Waing and Prof. Janet O. Saturno of CLSU. Poster presentations were evaluated by Mr. Mark Bryan T. Gusi, Asst. Prof. Zorille DC. Villaflores, and Ms. Patricia Anne M. Martinez of CLSU, alongside Mr. Mark John C.
